Outstanding property with gorgeous views. The infinity pool was beautiful and the staff and service was great. Capanna suites have been on our bucket list since they opened. Two complaints with this property 1. The temperature control in the room had already been to turned to heating in mid October. Our second story room was quite warm and then was no option for cooling. We were unable to open the windows due to the cats that freely roam the property. There is no mention of the lack of air conditioning on the website. 2. No everyone is a fan of cats (especially for allergy sufferers like ourselves). It became clear pretty quickly the cats have free roam of the entire property. They are in the restaurant, lounging in pools chairs (and leaving their hair behind), and jumping into every window. One evening we left window open (because the room was 80 degrees on the thermostat with no heat running) and woke to find a cat sleeping in bed with us. We understand the need for cats on a ritual property and they are obviously well cared for. However, you don’t pay a premium for a unique stay to have it ruined by property cats. Unfortunately this experience ruined our stay at a property we had been really looking forward to
