Built in the 1960s as a traditional Cycladic residence, Callia Retreat Suites has been thoughtfully restored to preserve its whitewashed stone architecture while introducing modern luxury amenities.
Perched in Fira's clifftop village at 847 meters elevation, the property maintains its original character through arched doorways and blue shutters, now offering 12 individually designed suites with caldera views.

Don't even bother. I made a booking via booking.com. Several times, I received notification that the hotel could not validate my credit card, despite the one used being active, and had the same problem even when changed to another active card. I messaged the property via booking.com, emailed them, tried calling them, without a response to any communication attempt. Finally, they unceremoniously cancelled the booking one month before I was due to stay, again with zero communication. Either they are grossly incompetent, or running some sort of scam to get new bookings with higher rates. I strongly advise you to take your money elsewhere. ***EDIT - I feel compelled to respond to the owner's response, which is the first time I have had any communication back from them, despite my attempts. You will note they very conveniently did not address my points about the complete lack of communication. Naturally I raised this issue re credit card validation with booking.com support, who informed me the problem was on the property's end and not their system, and that I should contact them directly to resolve it. Well as I have outlined, I tried all means possible! I have never had this issue before with a credit card through years of using booking.com, including for other recent and upcoming bookings. If a hotel cannot even fulfil the basic requirement of responding to guest's messages, then its very fair to draw a conclusion about their competence. I now include screenshots of my communication attempts, seeing as they want to talk about evidence.
