This is an excellent little base for exploring the Poros/Galatas area. 5 min ride/25 min walk into Galatas port and then a 3 min water taxi over to Poros. You can also drive/taxi 35 mins south to Metochi and then get the short boat over to Idra/Hydra, which is amazing. I guess in peak season, you can also get the longer Idra boat directly from Poros port. I stayed here with my small daughter and we loved it. Nice big pool and garden surrounded by lemon and olive trees. Excellent friendly staff and great value for money. One of the days we invited some other family members over to buy lunch and the omelettes, sandwiches, salads etc were very nice. I would definitely stay here again!
