The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The lady with curly hair especially was absolute sunshine. The breakfast was phenomenal!! The rooms were big which was so nice. BUT the patio door did not lock and one day, we came back and the house keeper had left the patio door wide open. Insane to just leave all of our belongings unlocked like that. Plus, the room smelled AWFUL. I don't know if it was just the fact that it is such an old building, but our clothes smelled for days after out suitcases sitting in the room. Side note: if you stay here, try Pizzeria Est Est Est a couple buildings down. Best pizza we had in Italy!!! SO good.
