Built in the early 1900s as a private lakeside villa, Boutique Hotel Sostaga has been meticulously restored to preserve its Belle Époque architecture while introducing contemporary luxury.

Perched on the shores of Lake Garda in Gargnano, the property retains original period details across its 19 rooms and extends its historical character into manicured gardens and waterfront terraces.

The hotel's transformation into a destination wedding venue honors its heritage while offering modern amenities for intimate celebrations.

Every time I come to Lake Garda, lunch at Villa Sostaga in Gargnano is an absolute must—it's become a little tradition for me. Perched high on a hill with those incredible panoramic views over the lake that just take your breath away, the place has this magical old-world charm. Originally built in the late 19th century as a hunting lodge for Count Giuseppe Feltrinelli, it's surrounded by 40 hectares of beautiful grounds, blending rustic elegance with real luxury. The interiors are done with such impeccable taste—antique touches mixed with cozy comfort—and the food is always outstanding, creative yet comforting, with fresh local ingredients that make every dish memorable. What really makes it special though are the people: owners Gabriele and his son Francesco are so warm and welcoming, always making you feel like you're visiting friends rather than staying at a hotel, and Sonia at the front desk is endlessly kind and helpful with that genuine smile. Whether you're there for a relaxed lunch on the terrace or lingering longer, it's the perfect spot to soak in the beauty of Garda. Can't recommend it enough—it's one of those places that keeps drawing me back!
