The original palacete is the wedding venue: stained glass, carved wood, tiled floors and a terrace that hangs over the beach, with the Atlantic filling the frame in every direction.
Two later buildings, the Casa Azul facing the sand and the Garden House behind, hold the rest of the rooms.
Vista, the restaurant, has held a Michelin star for over a decade.

The ocean-facing terrace above the beach is the usual setting, with the salons of the original 1918 villa as the indoor alternative. Portimão town hall handles civil ceremonies locally if you want the legal wedding in Portugal.
How far is Faro airport?+
About 55 minutes east on the A22 motorway. Praia da Rocha itself is a busy resort strip in summer, so guests wanting quiet should be pointed at Alvor or Ferragudo, both around 15 minutes away.
