Avithos Resort Kefalonia in Svoronata 280 83, open JuneOctober.

Avithos Resort stands apart in Kefalonia for offering a fully integrated wedding experience where guests stay, celebrate, and explore within one property overlooking the Ionian Sea.

Unlike scattered venue options across the island, this hotel-based approach eliminates logistics headaches and keeps your celebration contained on 12 acres of landscaped grounds.

The resort's combination of on-site accommodations, multiple event spaces, and direct beach access creates a multi-day destination where family and friends become fully immersed in celebration.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful holiday in beautiful Kefalonia, and this hotel truly made it unforgettable. The rooms are beautifully decorated, well-equipped, and spotless thanks to the excellent housekeeping team. The staff are also incredibly friendly and helpful, making you feel right at home from the start. The pool area is fantastic, well-kept, and even at full occupancy there was never any rush or competition for sunbeds. We were traveling with our five-year-old and felt completely at ease, as the layout is contained and safe, giving her the freedom to enjoy a bit of independence. The surrounding area is peaceful and charming. While the hotel is a little remote, there are some lovely tavernas within walking distance, and with a car you’ll find plenty more options nearby. A beautiful beach and a handy local supermarket are also just a short walk away. The pool bar is great —slightly on the pricey side, but the self-catering rooms give you flexibility to balance eating in with dining out. We loved our stay so much that we’ve already booked again for next year. This is the first time we’ve ever chosen to return to the same place for a holiday, which says it all!
