AP Cabanas Beach & Nature originated as a traditional Portuguese coastal retreat in the 1980s before undergoing comprehensive restoration to become a contemporary beachfront hotel.
Situated directly on Cabanas Beach along the Algarve's eastern shoreline, the property preserves its heritage architecture while offering modern event spaces overlooking the Atlantic.
The venue spans across natural sand dunes and manicured grounds, providing both intimate ceremony settings and flexible reception areas for groups of 20 to 150 guests.
Returning to this hotel for a 3 night escape in December. We came last year at this time & loved it. So this year we had an expectation and it was surpassed. A quiet off season corner of calm, delicious food which easily accommodated my allergy requirements. Outstanding staff member was Sylvia Gaspan, managing the restaurant and paying attention to all guests needs. We used the spa area, the sauna looks out onto the garden and we watched the sun set. Hired bikes and cycled on the local routes. Walked into Tavira, took about an hour over the salt planes and an easy path to follow. Enjoyed the live music and the drinks in the evening. Mainly the chilled vibe at this time of year is why we returned, and will do again.
