Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort was truly one of the most amazing places I have ever visited in my life. The resort has everything you could possibly need, so there is no need to go to another island at all. The restaurants were incredible the food was absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding, honestly one of the best I’ve ever experienced. There are so many water activities to enjoy, and everything was perfectly organized. From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was flawless. A truly unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Overall, the hotel is good and offers a comfortable stay, however the experience felt quite different from the authentic Maldives vibe we were expecting. One area that could definitely be improved is the food. There were some difficulties accommodating gluten-free and lactose-intolerant diets, with a rather limited selection available, which made dining a bit challenging at times. The service, however, was good. The staff were professional and kind, and I would especially like to mention the lady who assisted us during our stay — she was always prompt, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which we truly appreciated. One downside of our experience was the room situation. We felt disappointed to discover that there was a large construction directly in front of our room, which was not clearly mentioned or visible in the photos on the hotel’s website. Because of this, we felt the need to upgrade our room, which was not something we had initially planned. In summary, while the hotel has positive aspects and good service, there are areas where clearer communication and improvements could enhance the overall guest experience.

We had an amazing stay at Anantara — everything from the atmosphere to the service was absolutely top-tier. The resort is stunning, peaceful, and extremely well maintained. A special thank you to the water sports team — Jailam, Luqman, Nisham, and Visham — all super professional, friendly, and made every activity fun and safe. The spa experience was outstanding. Chanya and Kadek were exceptional therapists — incredibly skilled, calming, and attentive. Easily one of the best spa experiences we’ve ever had. Huge appreciation to Kadir, who took amazing care of us throughout the stay. Always helpful, kind, and made sure everything was perfect. And lastly, Khalid, our cleaner — absolutely incredible. The room was spotless at all times, perfectly organized, and always refreshed to the highest standard. His attention to detail, consistency, and kindness genuinely stood out and made our stay even more comfortable. Truly next-level service. Overall, an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend Anantara and would 100% return.
