We booked here last minute based on the reviews, but was left disappointed. For a 4* hotel it was let down on the following: *No iron and ironing board in the room - I spent my whole trip with creased clothes. Something you would expect as standard! *No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Instead 3 weirdly placed oranges. *A strange rule about wearing swimming hats in the pool when guests are freely entering straight from the beach covered in sand. *Aware that there is no outdoor pool and regret not booking a hotel with one. The indoor pool is ok but very warm to sit around it. *When returning from the beach back into the hotel, the door to enter requires a key card. There are no signs to inform you that you are required to put your hand on the other side of the door and struggle to swipe the card. We wasted a lot of time trying to figure this out, and all that is required is a simple sign to inform you. *When hiring a beach towel a deposit is required, which I completely understand the reason. However, this was cash only. We did not carry cash, and why can this simply be recorded and a charge made upon checking out via card if not returned. Overall, I do not recommend staying here as it seems a hotel that thrives on silly rules & trying to make more money out of guests each time. The 1 positive is the view from the bar where I enjoyed a drink late afternoon (see photo).
