Just returned from a 7-night stay. We arrived around midnight due to a flight delay, and the staff kindly served us a light supper — cold cuts, cheese, bread, and fruit — which was a thoughtful touch. Although the hotel is advertised as 5 stars, it doesn’t quite live up to that rating. There are surcharges for almost everything: €10 per hour for the tennis court, €4 for water at dinner, and additional charges to use the spa. On top of that, there’s a nightly tax of €15. There’s also no coffee or tea provided in the room, which was a bit disappointing. The staff, however, were truly lovely and accommodating — especially the restaurant manager and Christina, who both went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Our flight home was in the evening, and while we appreciated being allowed a late checkout, there was a €40 fee for six extra hours. The food was very good, with plenty of variety, and the beach across from the hotel was beautiful, though it’s a mix of sand and pebbles. We had a rental car for the week, which I’d highly recommend since the hotel is quite secluded. If you can, visit Tsambika Beach — it’s absolutely stunning. Overall, we had a lovely stay, but the experience didn’t quite match what we expected from a five-star hotel.
