In 2025 they opened a small beach bar and the people of the bar put loud music and they destroy the whole environment. Very good beach 100 meters from my house! Kalifteri beach is a beach 500 meters from the center of Afissos to the direction of Volos! It is already a very popular beach with many people visiting it on the weekends and the high season June July August September. From April the water is not so cold and you can easily swim. Also Kalifteri beach is inside the Pagasitikos Gulf so it is usually calm like a lake, so even children can swim without danger. There are no dangerous jelly fish. Also you can watch the sunset from kalifteri beach. The water is super clean and clear. But it is not good for wind surfers because usually there are no winds.
