Wedding website templates: colors, fonts, photos and custom designs

Choose a useful wedding website template, customize the visual details, and distinguish standard templates from custom showcase and Elena designs.

At a glance

Choose a wedding website template by how clearly it presents your information on a phone, then personalize the colors, fonts, spacing and photos. Aisle’s standard templates, its custom showcase examples and Design with Elena are different ways to approach the design.

Try the standard templates in the example wedding before choosing. Use your actual names, a realistic event description and a photo with similar proportions to the one you intend to upload. A layout that looks good with a short title may wrap differently with your full venue name.

Customize in a useful order

  • Start with the template structure and section order so the date, venue and RSVP stay easy to find.
  • Choose the cover photograph, then check that text is readable over it. Faces and important details should remain visible on a narrow screen.
  • Set the colors and fonts. Compare body text, buttons and links as well as the large heading.
  • Adjust spacing after adding your actual content. A short paragraph and a long weekend schedule need different room.
  • Preview on a phone and a wider screen, follow the guest navigation and recheck after any large photo or type change.

Avoid using a screenshot of text as the only way to communicate the schedule. Guests need readable, selectable information, and a phone should not require zooming to find the next event. Plain directions can sit next to a decorative map.

Use examples without confusing the product options

The ten showcase layouts all use Walt and Perrie’s wedding. They are custom designs, not ten standard templates or ten different customer sites. Use them to compare navigation, typography and information order, and use your own images rather than copying someone else’s wedding photographs.

The annotated website examples explain schedules and travel sections. If you want to write your own page copy first, start with what to include on a wedding website.

Common questions

Can I change colors, fonts and photographs?+

Yes. Aisle’s standard editor includes controls for colors, fonts, spacing, photos and themes. Preview with your own content on a phone before publishing.

Are the showcase designs included as standard templates?+

No. The showcase is a collection of custom designs of the same founders’ wedding. The standard template gallery is a separate surface.

Is Design with Elena the standard template editor?+

No. It is a separate chat in the website studio for a custom design, with design-credit terms. The standard editor remains another option.

Should I choose design before writing the schedule?+

Have enough real content to judge the design. Long names, event descriptions and travel instructions can change whether a layout works.
