The 20-guest on-property accommodation transforms a single day into a multi-day retreat, while covered structures—including an antique lemon house—eliminate weather anxiety.
External catering and supplier policies mean you shape every detail without fighting house restrictions.
We rented the dependance for 4 days and the location for our wedding in August 25. Other that some of the older reviews, we had a very positive experience. Communication with the owners was professional with a fast response time and no surprises. We especially want to highlight the staff who are taking care of the Venue - they were super nice and made our stay special. ❤️ Dependance is an Old Building with original furniture - this was not a surprise to us since its what the pictures are giving away. It is beautiful and an authentic tuscan experience. Just mentioning it here because it received some critical Feedback in the past. Thanks for making this so Special for us!

Asked along the way.
Can we hold our ceremony at the villa itself?+
Yes. Villa Oliva permits official civil ceremonies on-site. Alternatively, the medieval Pieve di San Pancrazio, dating to around 1000 AD, sits within walking distance and offers a historic alternative.
What happens if it rains?+
The villa provides covered event spaces: a restored lemon house and greenhouse can be rented to shelter celebrations without moving guests off the property or losing the garden atmosphere.
How many guests can stay at the villa?+
The on-site accommodation sleeps 20 guests across multiple nights. For larger parties, the venue can recommend nearby hotels in the Lucca area.
Can we hire our own caterer and vendors?+
Yes. Villa Oliva actively welcomes external catering companies and suppliers, giving you complete control over food, florals, photography, and other services.
When is the venue available?+
Villa Oliva accepts bookings throughout the year with no seasonal restrictions.
