After spending $6000 for 4 nights at the king and the prince we left disappointed. My wife and I stayed there 5 years ago and it was a great experience. The hotel is under new management. The rooms are dated and run down. The service was awful. The maid serviced our room 1 time, after we called. Our TV did not work for 2 nights, but it was fixed after several calls. The service at the pool was awful. It took 30 minutes to get drinks. Our last night at Echo, the fine dining restaurant, was miserable. The waitress forgot about us. Our drinks were warm and the ice was already melted when we got them. The appetizers were good and came out in a timely fashion. However, all of the plates remained on our table the entire time. We never were able to order a second drink. The meals took forever to come out and the food was average at best. We did get an apology from the food and beverage manager. The property was beautiful. The beach was great. I hope that they can turn it around, but we will not be going back.
