The Capra in Saas-Fee, open July–December.
The Capra stands apart in Saas-Fee as a hotel venue where alpine sophistication meets genuine Swiss hospitality, without the pretension found elsewhere in the region.
This four-star property operates year-round, allowing couples to marry against either snow-capped peaks or summer wildflower meadows.
The venue manages everything in-house, from accommodation to catering, eliminating the logistics nightmare of coordinating multiple vendors across a mountain destination.
We had a wonderful stay at The Capra and would gladly return. What impressed us most was the warmth and attentiveness of the staff. Everyone was genuinely welcoming, professional, and eager to help, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were excellent—comfortable, beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and, importantly for a summer stay, cool and comfortable. After a disappointing experience at another hotel without air conditioning, The Capra was a true relief. The restaurant was another highlight. It offers a fantastic selection of local Valais cuisine paired with an impressive wine list featuring many regional Swiss wines. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared, and it was a great way to experience the local food culture. Above all, Saas-Fee itself is an incredible summer destination. Thanks to its high altitude, the weather remains wonderfully cool even in the middle of summer, making hiking and sightseeing extremely enjoyable. As an added bonus, guests receive free use of most cable cars, which makes exploring the surrounding mountains both convenient and excellent value. If you’re looking for a luxury alpine hotel with outstanding service in one of Switzerland’s most beautiful mountain villages, I highly recommend The Capra. It exceeded our expectations in every way.

Asked along the way.
Can we host a winter wedding here?+
Yes. The Capra operates year-round and hosts winter ceremonies against snowy peaks. The hotel maintains heated indoor and covered outdoor spaces. Many couples choose December through February for their ceremonies.
Do we need to book rooms for all our guests?+
No. The hotel has 50+ rooms available, but guests can also stay in nearby Saas-Fee village accommodations, which are a short cable car or car journey away. The venue can recommend properties if needed.
What's the ceremony capacity?+
The venue accommodates 20 to 150 guests depending on your chosen spaces and season. Indoor options work for winter weddings, while outdoor terraces open in summer months.
How do guests reach Saas-Fee?+
