Terra Antica in Acquaviva.
Guests arrive at a restored Tuscan property where rolling hills frame terracotta-roofed rooms and a working estate anchors the landscape.
The 4.8-rated hotel sits on 12 hectares of vineyard and olive groves, offering an immersive Sienese countryside experience where your group stays, celebrates, and tastes from the same land for three days or more.
Stone courtyards, a certified kitchen, and direct cellar access mean every meal reflects the terroir you're standing in.
Terra Antica is a gorgeous, serene property that serves as the perfect home base for exploring Montepulciano and the Val d'Orcia. From the moment we arrived, the check-in was smooth and the reception was incredibly welcoming, including a thorough tour of the beautiful grounds. The Suite: We stayed in the Queen Suite and it was impressive. The space is very large, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated. Having a full kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need was a huge plus. Note for travelers: You may notice a slight sulfur smell in the water (sinks and showers), which is quite common in this region of Tuscany. It’s safe and didn't impact our stay, but worth knowing so you aren't surprised! Amenities & Dining: Breakfast: The breakfast room is lovely, and the staff are exceptionally friendly. The buffet is amazing, supplemented by a great selection of high-quality cooked-to-order items. Fitness: For those who like to stay active, there is a very well-equipped gym on-site—one of the better ones we’ve seen in a resort of this size. Overall, the attention to detail and the warmth of the staff made our stay feel very special. We would return in a heartbeat!

Asked along the way.
Can we have a multi-day event?+
Yes. Terra Antica encourages 3–4 day celebrations with shared meals, tastings, and activities across the estate. Guest rooms range from suites to agriturisimo quarters.
Is the venue exclusively ours?+
Full buyout is available. Off-season (November–March, May) offers better single-event pricing. Peak season (June–September) accommodates shared-property scenarios.
What if we want a small ceremony?+
The property hosts 20–40 person intimate ceremonies in the chapel or garden. Larger receptions (100+) use the courtyard and loggia.
Are catering and wine included?+
Menu planning is on-site with the estate kitchen. Wine packages draw from the vineyard; custom catering menus start around €60–90 per head.
What about accessibility?+
Stone terraces and gravel paths dominate the grounds. Ground-floor rooms exist, but mobility may be limited. Confirm needs directly with the team.
