Tenuta Santo Pietro was absolutely FABULOUS. Bertina was awesome, we felt like family the minute we walked in the door. This is a quiet “hotel” that felt more like a full service bed and breakfast. The dinner was amazing and, although we sat at different tables, it felt like a Sunday family meal. I can’t say enough about the dessert other than the fact that I pretty much licked the plate clean. I strongly recommend trying the house wine and olive oil. WARNING, you will go home with multiple bottles of both. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. This place was clearly renovated with comfort and convenience in mind. Although it is a short drive from Pienza it is well worth it.
