Great view, that’s really the main reason why you should go here! The cabins are nice and when you are lucky, you can also enjoy the view from your bed. However, there is some lagging maintenance. Especially the bathroom carries mold. We even had the floor in frontbod the shower loose because of the mold! The staff at the reception is the best and we went twice with the gold car guys, also great. However the staff at the restaurant is not so friendly and we heard them a lot of times have loud discussions among them. Make sure you have no problems walking, it’s rocky there and can be tricky if you suffer problems.

We had booked this hotel for a special babymoon weekend, but unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing. A few weeks before our stay, I contacted the hotel to cancel due to a difficult pregnancy and the fact it would have been an 8–9 hour drive. They offered us a voucher that had to be used before our baby turned 6 months old, which was simply unrealistic with a newborn. We decided to try and go ahead with the booking to not lose almost 1,000 Euros, but the day before check-in I became unwell again and we had to cancel. I provided the hotel with a doctor’s note explaining my situation, but they showed no understanding, offered no flexibility, and refused any form of refund. While I understand it may be their official policy, as a business owner myself I know there are always circumstances where a little compassion and flexibility should be shown—especially when dealing with a heavily pregnant guest who is unwell. This was an expensive trip we had planned, and the way we were treated left us very disappointed. Not the experience I would expect from a hotel that values its guests.

The spot and view cannot be topped, absolutely amazing. But the room and the restaurant are overpriced. Some of the staff are kind, some are just happy to have a job. Be aware that the pool is located at the tent accommodations and not near the wooden cabanas. From there it is a steep long walk to the pool, especially if you have kids. Overall nice place but way to expensive, it misses a soul.
