Civil ceremonies take place at Palazzo Orsetti in Lucca's Municipal Palace, approximately 25 minutes from Tenuta Bellosguardo. No church or civil registry operates on-site, though two churches are within minutes of the estate for blessing ceremonies or post-civil gatherings.
What happens if it rains?+
The recently restored Limonaia seats 40 guests indoors. For larger groups or expanded space, marquee rental is strongly recommended as a backup structure. Weather planning is managed in consultation with the venue's wedding coordination team.
Do we have to use your catering?+
External caterers only—you select and hire your own. This allows complete menu control and the option to work with Tuscan specialists or bring in culinary talent from elsewhere.
What is the payment schedule?+
A 40% deposit secures the booking. The remaining balance is due three months before your wedding date.
Where do guests stay?+
Various apartments and agriturismi (rural farmhouse accommodations) are available nearby. The estate itself functions as a hotel, though wedding guest rooms should be confirmed during booking. Starting packages include 3-night stays for groups of 22+.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?+
No. The property is not equipped for wheelchair access. Guests with mobility needs should discuss alternative arrangements with the venue prior to booking.
