This is one of the best places I've ever stayed in. The staff were absolutely amazing, upon entering they were so lovely and they took our bags from us to be put upstairs into our rooms. We were then shown to our room. It was absolutely enormous! From the traditional tatami mats with the table and chairs on the floor, to wearing yukata, and the beds being so, so comfortable. I literally have no faults with Seikoro Ryokan. The kaiseki meal was brilliant too, a lot of the dishes served were things I had never tried, but I really enjoyed it! Breakfast the following morning was amazing too, I had the japanese style breakfast whereas my sister had the western style breakfast. The breakfast tea was like a classic cup of tea from England (we are English) so my sister was really happy with it! The cherry on top of this experience was when we left, two staff members (I unfortunately can't remember their names, one was a lady dressed in kimono and the other was a lady in formalwear) waited for us to get to the end of the street before we all waved goodbye to each other. This small gesture will always be something I remember. Thank you so much to the staff at Seikoro for everything, and I would definitely like to come back one day 😄
