What a fabulous location! This was so convenient for us, and the room was fancier and more comfortable than I expected. Skylights, interesting glass fixtures, a wall display of glass art, free wifi and water bottles, nice toiletries, and comfortable towels. It was clean, but there were mosquito issues (a sign directed us to keep the windows shut to minimize that). I appreciate having plenty of table space to put things on. Our room was on the top floor - I don't know if all 8 rooms are similar, but ours was cute. But the obvious drawback is all the stairs. Come prepared to carry suitcases up several flights of stairs. Obviously, rooms not on the top floor (96 and 97 are at the top, 90 is at the bottom) would have fewer stairs, but lower rooms would have more noise from the street and from the construction that was going on in an adjoining building while we were there. We were able to leave our bags post- check-out at Hotel Ala, which was useful. Ala is where you need to check in and out for Residenza Favaro. It's a few blocks away. Otherwise, there's no particular clerk or desk or anyone who can answer questions. It went pretty smoothly, and our beds were made up etc. during the day, so the service is fine, just mostly absent.
