I am writing this review to express my extreme disappointment with RarinVillas and its cafe, ORB Cafe. I came here specifically to check out the property as I was planning to book a stay here, but after today’s appalling experience, I will never spend a penny on this establishment. 1. Ridiculous Front Desk Behavior (RarinVillas): The behavior of the reception staff was beyond unprofessional. When I approached the front area, there were three staff members present. Two female staff members were actually squatting under the desk taking private photos/playing around. This is absolutely unacceptable for a luxury "Urban Sanctuary." What’s even more insulting is that when they noticed me taking photos of the area, one girl scurried away, while the other continued to squat under the desk, hiding instead of standing up to greet a guest. The level of maturity and training here is zero. 2. Terrible Cafe Experience (ORB Cafe): The service at the cafe was just as cold and arrogant. I ordered a drink that was completely undrinkable. To make matters worse, the staff provided no receipt, and not a single "Thank you" or polite word was said throughout the transaction. I felt completely ignored and disrespected. 3. Conclusion: RarinVillas has a beautiful facade, but the management is a failure. Because of the childish and rude behavior of these three staff members, you have lost a high-value customer and a hotel booking. If you are looking for luxury service and basic respect, DO NOT stay here. There are plenty of other professional villas in Chiang Mai that actually value their guests.
