The hotel’s booking system is very poor and doesn’t match the price level or “high-end” status they claim. I sent an inquiry, received an offer, and booked within a couple of hours. Yet about 30 minutes later I was told my reservation was cancelled because someone else had already taken the room. When I complained that any self-respecting upscale hotel should either hold an offer for a defined period or simply prevent booking if the room is no longer available, their “solution” was to offer an alternative where we would sleep on a sofa. Truly premium service and quality.
