What a wonderful stay we had at Palazzo Guido! We were originally booked for 4 nights but loved it so much we stayed for an extra 2 nights. Our host and owner Geltrude was lovely. The Palazzo had been in her family for generations. She gave us history on the palazzo, very interesting. The room was spacious, comfy bed, quiet and decorated with a lot of unique pieces of furniture. There was a nice seating area, nice clean bathroom and my personal favorite, a heated towel warmer😊 The common areas were so thoughtfully done, Geltrude told me when she remodeled she tried to preserve the integrity of the Palazzo and she did a great job. Lots of old interesting family photos, books and more beautiful antiques. There is a rooftop with seating area, perfect view of the cathedral and a beautiful place to sit and watch the sunset. The location is perfect, close to all the cathedrals, museums, historical sites and restaurants. Geltrude was so helpful with restaurant recommendations, making bookings for us. We plan to go back next year!
