This 16th-century palazzo functions as a working hotel, preserving original stone architecture, vaulted ceilings, and Renaissance details throughout its 40 guest rooms.
The property's terraced gardens and courtyard spaces offer ceremony and reception settings 400 meters above sea level, surrounded by Umbrian countryside.
Once a year we venture into Strettura (famous for its bread) and dine at Palazzo del Papa. The two brothers have run this establishment for years and it’s been amazing witnessing the development and growth. We chose lunch on Ferragosto which was incredibly busy and had the staff a little stretched but the food, typical Umbrian, is all homemade. Great day out in the countryside for a family get together.
