Palazzo Abadessa operates as a working hotel in Venice's Cannaregio district, meaning your guests have immediate accommodation on-site—a rare logistical advantage in a city where lodging options fill quickly.
This 16th-century palazzo sits directly on the Grand Canal with its own water entrance, eliminating the need to navigate Venice's crowded pedestrian bridges in formal wear.
The venue combines intimate spaces within a historic structure that has hosted weddings for over two decades.
Wonderful stay at the Palazzo Abadessa I stayed at the Palazzo Abadessa Hotel with my children, and we had a fantastic time. My children were especially happy – the entire staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and polite. They made us feel truly welcome. The hotel's location is also perfect: very central and ideal for exploring the city. We would return anytime and highly recommend the hotel!
