Nu Nu was on my bucket list and I couldn’t wait to go! We went to Vivo the night before which was incredible so I couldn’t wait to also go to NuNu. It’s highly recommended by locals and friends. The entry when you arrive is stunning - just breathtaking… and the restaurant is a big WOW! The maître d’ seemed a bit stressed and not the relaxed Palm Cove vibe. Food took a very long time to come - over a hour. Waitress (who was so lovely) apologised and explained they were low on staff which was ok as the location is so relaxing and fine to just sit and relax. I ordered the tiger prawn (ok) and the king fish main (delicious). My young daughters had kids menu - bolognaise which was good and chicken tenders and chips which were way over cooked and she couldn’t eat. Would have like options such as mash potatoes and grilled chicken etc. We found out Numi’s icecream is owned by same owners. It is next level!!! Go there afterwards! Overall I loved the location and enjoyed my meal. Did it live up to its reputation? On this night not really. Would I go again, yes as I think it was just an off night and overall the experience is worth it.
