This resort is on the pricier end and yet nobody to greet you after 7pm. After a 6 hour journey from Melbourne, and a 30 minute drive from Cairns - arriving after midnight to find a series of puzzles to find the room key, then the carpark, how to get out of it, how to find my room - was not welcome! The helpline person, while lovely, was not familiar with the complex. The rooms are dated, haul your luggage up the stairs as there is no elevator, enter your room to find beaten up furniture and cleanliness is mid. For a ‘spa’ resort, no amenities provided beyond basic soaps. I am somewhat glad to have not read the reviews until now, given recent break ins I would have felt quite unsafe wandering around trying to find my way.
