We stayed at Nirvana Beach Hotel for two weeks in late September and had a wonderfully relaxing stay. The hotel is cosy and welcoming, with newly renovated rooms that are cleaned daily and offer great sea views. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We chose the half-board option - breakfast is à la carte, and dinner is a tasty 4-course meal. As a vegetarian, I was served meat-free meals, but adding more protein-rich options like beans or tofu would be a great improvement. The hotel has some adorable resident cats, and its location is convenient - there’s a bus stop right outside for trips to Rhodes, and Butterfly Valley is a scenic 1.5-hour walk away. We also recommend checking out tours from the travel agency in Theologos and trying windsurfing at Surf Theologos. A few things to keep in mind: air conditioning costs €8/day (we didn’t need it in late September), and there’s a €5/night tourist tax. The hotel is close to the airport, so you’ll hear planes - earplugs are a good idea if you're a light sleeper. Overall, a great spot for a peaceful holiday with friendly service and good access to the island.
