We had our wedding party at Metochi on August 2023. We were one of the first events that the venue hosted and unfortunately at the time access was a bit tricky as the road connecting it to the highway was yet to be built. We were able to resolve this by placing signs pointing to the venue on the road that connects with the village of Kaina, so no big deal there. Access now with the new road is a piece of cake. We had no problem with organizing the event, Nikos was super helpful and even suggested that we visit the place during a previous event so that we get a glimpse of what the place looks like during an actual wedding. We were informed from the very begging about the extra charge of the fairy lights, of course everyone charges extra for them every single venue. Usually renting fairy lights starts from 1000 so 280 seemed like a very good deal. Big bonus the guesthouses make it easy for the couple to get ready on site and have their photos with their friends taken there as the place is incredible with stone built houses that create a unique, rustic backdrop. We even took our couple photos right outside the guesthouses before the ceremony and the result was amazing. We were also able to host 10 close friends on the night of the party which is literally impossible in any other venue. All in all I'd suggest Metohi to any couple that wants to have a nice big party on their special day BUT is willing to be pay a bit more, since it's an Estate and not an outdated venue that still charges 25 euro per person.
