We stayed at this beautiful property during the off season in November and were excited for a relaxing stay at an agriturismo with a restaurant serving local food and a wine bar where we might enjoy an aperitivo and local wines. We arrived and found the property and room beautiful, but unfortunately we had several issues. The breakfast was very disappointing compared to the many similar properties we had stayed at throughout Italy, and only after arriving were we informed that the restaurant and wine bar would be closed for the duration of our stay, so this property did not provide an agriturismo experience. With everything closed and staff rarely onsite, it seemed sad and abandoned and unlike the experience the website advertised. We had no more than 5 minutes of hot water per day in the shower during the cooler season, and when we addressed these issues with staff, they consistently made us feel like we were a burden to them and it was the holiday period, apologizing but offering little help to resolve any issues. The hospitality was very poor and felt unwelcoming, and the staff told us that they had informed us of these closures which they had not, and eventually they became dismissive of us. We expected a rustic and romantic experience and while the room and property were beautiful, I cannot recommend staying here. I strongly recommend that this property not accept bookings if they cannot provide all services and amenities as described, or communicate the closures and lack of staff and services.

The restaurant was one of the best in Puglia. Perfect food, very helpful staff that could accommodate your needs and a beautiful garden! We had a perfect birthday dinner under the trees and stars. Will definitely come back!

Lovely historic building on a nice plot very close to the seafront. We had a big suite that came with another room with a single bed, separate bathroom and a big private terrace. The premises are lovely and have great potential, but as many other people commented it needs tlc, bathroom seen better days and other areas were also lacking. For a 4star accommodation the room was a bit basic and sparse in furnishings, no cushions, sofa, mirror, bin, in need of much better quality of pillows. There is a huge flock of birds living around that make lot of noise, nonstop from 5am until late evening, so not much peace and quiet unfortunately and the strong light on aircon and tv didn’t help at night. Restaurant on premises is not always open and only place you could get a drink, which is a shame. We dined there one night, but the food was disappointing and the evening spoiled by screaming kids. Proper minibar in room or some drinks on offer at reception would be useful. Breakfast could do with more options.
