Masseria San Nicola in Fasano, open JuneSeptember.

Masseria San Nicola operates as a working agricultural estate rather than a conventional hotel, giving couples an authentic Pugliese experience grounded in 18th-century farmhouse architecture and 80+ hectares of olive groves and vineyards.

This working masseria differentiates itself through on-site wine production and farm-to-table dining that showcases ingredients harvested directly from the property.

Guests stay within restored stone buildings that maintain their historical character while offering contemporary amenities.

Such a charming little Masseria! The rooms were absolutely beautiful — spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The air-conditioning worked perfectly, which was a big plus, especially during the summer. The bathrooms were also quite large, modern, and stocked with really nice shampoos and soaps, which was a thoughtful touch. Each morning, we enjoyed a simple but very nice breakfast, perfect before heading out for the day. The location is fantastic if you want to explore nearby beaches, restaurants, and even other hotels. The grounds are lovely, with a cozy swimming pool and plenty of spots to relax. The beds were super comfortable too, which made our stay feel even more restful. We stayed with our two children, and it felt like most of the guests also had kids, which created a really warm and relaxed atmosphere. The property itself almost feels like a tiny old village — very charming and unique. One thing worth mentioning — while most of the information we found online focused on the big weddings they host, they do offer availability for regular hotel guests as well. When you’re staying there, they don’t book weddings, so it feels peaceful and private. A pleasant surprise: Uber works very well from the Masseria, making it easy to get to beach clubs, restaurants, and anywhere else nearby. Overall, a wonderful stay at a beautiful and family-friendly property — highly recommend!
