Masseria Sanrà in Noicattaro, open MayAugust.

Masseria Sanrà rises from the Puglian countryside near Noicattaro, a restored 18th-century fortified farmhouse surrounded by rolling fields and traditional dry-stone walls.

The estate commands panoramic views across the Itria Valley's distinctive landscape of whitewashed trulli and ancient olive groves.

Stone archways, courtyards, and terraced grounds provide multiple spaces for ceremonies and receptions within authentic Apulian architecture.

My son Jamie got married here this weekend to Maria and Sanra hosted the reception after the Mass at the Basilica. The wedding was a fairytale, the location stunning and as we moved from the drinks reception outside to the reception for an amazing selection of food and then later to the courtyard and the cocktail bar further down it was always beautifully set up -the Photo Booth, cocktail bar ,band ,food and ambience with the most friendly and obliging staff you will ever see-this place is yours for the day they said and they really meant it. The fireworks display by the pool after the cake cutting was the ultimate in romance for some iconic photos of the happy couple. There are five rooms and, unplanned the groomsmen stayed and the staff happily put us up ,found some focaccia at 1.30am and two bottles of wine ( and a phone charger) without any fuss and laid on breakfast the next morning as well. You could find no better destination wedding venue than the family run Masseria Sanra
