We stayed at the Masseria for 6 nights in early September 2024 to celebrate our wedding. In short, this place is heaven and we will be back in the future. The Masseria This place was restored by its owner, Kristine, and the thought and attention to detail is everywhere. Kristine has modernised an old Masseria and given it all the lovely modern touches. You feel like you are staying at a castle with all the conveniences at your fingertips. The living area is so homely and inviting. The pool area is what DREAMS are made of - you won’t ever want to leave. The space There are 5 double bedrooms in the main house (1 downstairs and 4 upstairs (3 rooms in 1 wing and 1 in another wing)) and 2 bedrooms by the pool. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and you have everything you need. Whilst the Masseria can house up to 13, it’s best to only house 12 as the single bedroom is quite small (not big enough for a couple). The location You are secluded in between vineyards, olive fields and other Masserias - if you want the beauty and relaxation of Puglia, this is the place for you. This place is designed for relaxation by the pool. Nearest town is a 10 minute drive from Grottaglie - where you can find everything you need supermarket, post office, coffee etc. You will need a car! If that’s a surprise to anyone else who stays here… they aren’t doing their research on this place properly. Housekeeping/Chef services I would give the Masseria 6 stars if I could and it’s all down to Preditt who manages the Masseria during your stay. The kindest, hardest working and friendliest person. He made our stay so enjoyable. He cooked us beautiful breakfasts and dinners (we paid for groceries and tipped him) and his meals never disappointed us or our guests. If you stay here and Preditt assists you, be sure to tip him, I’ve never encountered someone more deserving of it. Preditt is the man!!! Weddings If you are thinking of getting married at this venue we recommend Wedding Planner - Alessandra Linoci - Ale is an Apulian based wedding planner, she lives close to the Masseria and actually was married there herself, so there is no better expert: @alessandra_linoci_events
