Overall, a great experience and there is a willingness to come back! Pros: great location not far from the airport. oceanfront view room was breathtaking and peaceful (can’t speak to the rooms closest to the roadway) but ocean facing was serene. food, was good. poolside food was to be expected. and the restaurant on site that’s additional $$ was actually a truly worth it experience (in my opinion)! room was comfy, clean (ish) - with snacks and some amenities. room service breakfast was prompt, and generally pretty accurate! not a loud resort, with most entertainment ending at 10. shout out specifically to the poolside service staff, cos they were hustling in that heat!!! now the cons: the audacity of people to reserve chairs, ENRAGES me. it creates an energy of anxiety that no one wants on vacation!!! and the staff did nothing to uphold the policy YOU SIGN off on when you first check in. mind blown the amount of chairs that sat FOR HOURS (hours)!!! unoccupied with shit on them. infuriating. i had to make sure i was poolside by 8am in order to get a chair by the pool otherwise they were claimed by people WHO WERE NOT EVEN there. maddening. another con, my room was HOT. and you couldn’t adjust the thermostat. had maintenance come look and said everything was fine that they couldn’t turn it down further than 21 degrees. I am sorry but that’s too hot for mexico! so I had rough sleeps. beautiful property. again i would likely come back, but y’all could tighten some stuff up in the meantime.
