My stay at Maison d'hôtes La Domitia was exceptional from start to finish. Check-in was quick, and the owner went out of their way to accommodate my early arrival. The hosts Nicolas and his wife were warm and attentive. Breakfast was a highlight, with a mix of local and well-presented food. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and perfect for stretching out and getting a great night’s sleep! I also appreciated the hotel’s quiet environment, making it perfect for rest after a busy day. The pool area was also fantastic, clean, and relaxing, with plenty of lounge chairs. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and a relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely come back!

Wow—what an incredible stay! La Domitia completely exceeded our expectations. We’re an Australian family travelling around Europe for a year and have stayed in many places, but this one was truly special. The room was stunning, with super comfy beds, a beautiful lounge and pool room to unwind in, and the sauna was a perfect touch after a long travel day—slept like babies! Breakfast was a dream—local pastries, homemade yogurt, fresh bread, meats, and cheese, all so thoughtfully put together. The attention to detail throughout the entire stay was next level. Having worked in superyachts where service is everything, we really noticed and appreciated the care taken here. We were also there over Easter and they even had a little chocolate egg hunt set up for the kids “from the bunny rabbit”—such a sweet touch that made it magical for our little ones. This kind of hospitality is rare to find in France. We absolutely loved it and will 100% be back. Thank you so much, Nico! x

Meticulously updated and appointed hotel in a stately mansion in a quiet village near Montpelier. The host is personable and accommodating. The breakfast included jams and cheeses from the area and there were four or five homemade breads as well as croissants and baguettes. Overall a lovely stay!
