01 · In a sentence

Lotus Honolulu in HI 96815, open MarchDecember.

Lotus Honolulu sits on Kalākaua Avenue with direct views of the Pacific Ocean and Waikiki Beach's golden shoreline.

This oceanfront hotel venue captures the energy of Honolulu's most vibrant district while offering multiple indoor and outdoor spaces for ceremonies and receptions.

Guest rooms are steps from the venue, allowing your party to celebrate without the burden of travel.

As courteous and friendly as the hotel staff are at the Lotus. There are a few things I wish I had known. The Garden View rooms are on the 3rd floor and it’s open air hallways similar to a motel which obviously aren’t air conditioned. No a/c in elevator either. The room with 2 double beds aren’t comfortable unless you like a softer feel that sinks a little in the middle. The hotel is in a prime location away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki, is quiet and just steps to the beach. The room isn’t as nice as the photos but it is clean and the people are so nice here. If you have fragrance sensitivity there is a gardenia floral scent in the lobby area. I gave 4 stars because the price of $229 per night which is what I paid is very reasonable for Waikiki but it’s a basic hotel/motel feel. Not luxury.
