I wanted to give this place 5 stars and at times I wanted to give them 1 star so I’m settling on 4 stars for their efforts to rectify our issues. I’ll start with the pros: We booked a sea suite with pool- the room was excellent, nicely laid out, shower was fantastic. Bed was extra large. Many of the employees went above and beyond. Now the cons… Our TV’s didn’t work- normally not a problem but we experienced a full day and a half of bad weather. In fairness on day two, they did offer to move us but we opted to stay put since the weather improved. They forgot to service our suite- not really acceptable when paying the prices they charge. We experienced no hot water and had to take cold showers on our third day and when we tried to call, we found our phones didn’t work either. I’m sure I don’t have to mention how horrible cold showers feel. We did request to meet with the manager and in the end he compensated us for our discomforts and hiccups but it would have been a better experience if they had sought us out owning up to the issues without me having to explain why we deserved compensation. Overall, I would stay here again, maybe it was end of season issues.
