The buildings are new but assembled from old material, a lake sits in the middle of them, and the vines start at the door.
There are 61 rooms and suites, including the Île aux Oiseaux, a stilted cabin on the water copied from the Bassin d’Arcachon.
La Grand’Vigne, the two-Michelin-star restaurant, occupies a former orangery, and La Table du Lavoir is a plainer room built out of old vineyard timber.

We stayed in the Château le Thil Congress about a mile away from the main lodge and it was fine. I wish they had more help to take the bags up and down the stairs then the young girl who was behind the desk it was a bit much for her.
