We have spent a fantastic weekend at the Domine de Christin. We stayed at the campsite. Very nice hot showers (no coins) and the facilities are clean and in good condition. The setting for a wedding was beautiful and everyone had a great time. One of the swimming pools was heated, end August. The jacuzzis was very warm. There are cameras around the swimming pools, but as this is a large venue, I think it is probably necessary for security reasons. The swimming pools also have child lock handles so young children can’t gain access, which is reassuring. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay, thank you.

Nice and quiet place. Place is perfect for events that are also intended on having different environments for several activities. It has a kids playground. Not pet friendly place.

We booked via booking.com and asked for an early check-in. We received a message that they could not guarantee it but that they will do their best upon arrival. We arrived at 3pm today and the lady at the gate was super unfriendly and told us she wouldn't open the gate until 5pm. So we left and came back at 5. Again she was extremely unfriendly. Apparently we didn't follow the correct route to the parking. She didn't believe me when I said that French is not my mother tongue so I misunderstood her instructions. She yelled "we are in France so I speak french!". Yes, I try to do too but not 1000 words per minute. When we took our car to park it correctly she suddenly snapped, told us she would not let us stay and just left and closed the door and all the blinds. We were left there on the street with our 11 month old baby. We were completely flabbergasted. She screamed "I need to take care of all this and the whole property and all the guests, and the pool and everything. But of course that's not your problem". I think Christin is French for Karen. Poor, crazy lady.
