Le Mas des Herbes Blanches in Joucas, open June–September.
Perched on a hilltop in the Luberon Valley, Le Mas des Herbes Blanches commands sweeping views across lavender fields and medieval villages toward distant mountains.
This 4-star hotel occupies a restored 16th-century farmhouse with stone terraces and olive groves, offering an intimate setting where Provençal landscape becomes the ceremony backdrop.
The elevation and positioning create natural drama—sunrise ceremonies light the valley below, while sunset receptions glow against the Mont Ventoux range.
Beautiful property and beautiful views. Elevator not working(we had a baby with stroller), requested something in the room that didn’t arrive in over an hour. 35€ per person for breakfast felt a bit too much and if you need breakfast on the terrace of your room for a tranquil start to the morning, that was 50€ per person. We skipped breakfast at the property, instead drove to the nearby village and got freshly baked goods instead and enjoyed it on our terrace. Ordered room service dinner, was quite nice. Didn’t dine at the property restaurant as we were out during the day exploring Provence.

Asked along the way.
What is the weather like for summer ceremonies?+
June through September averages 25-28°C (77-82°F) with minimal rainfall. Spring and autumn offer cooler temperatures around 15-20°C (59-68°F). The elevation of 450 meters provides cooler evenings than the valley floor.
Are indoor backup venues available?+
Yes. The hotel features a 120-capacity stone dining hall with large windows overlooking the valley, ideal for receptions or ceremonies during mistral wind conditions.
Does the venue provide catering?+
All food and beverage must be sourced through the hotel's kitchen. The culinary director works directly with couples to design menus. Wine selections feature Luberon and Côtes de Provence producers.
Can we bring our own florist or decorator?+
The venue has an exclusive partnership with their preferred florist and decorator. Outside vendors may be considered on a case-by-case basis with additional coordination fees.
What is the cancellation policy?+
Standard terms require 50% deposit upon booking. Cancellations made 90+ days prior receive a full refund minus deposit; 30-89 days prior forfeit 50%; within 30 days, 100% of total cost is due.
