01 · In a sentence

La Vieille Bastide in Flayosc, open JuneSeptember.

Perched in the Provençal hills of Flayosc, La Vieille Bastide commands sweeping views across the Var countryside from its elevated position.

This restored stone manor sits amid vineyards and lavender fields, its ochre-toned façade and terra-cotta roofs reflecting centuries of French rural tradition.

The property's terraced grounds descend toward the valley, offering natural amphitheater-style spaces for ceremonies and receptions.

Really nice view, pretty gardens and a really comfty pool. However the rooms are really wet, even the “dry” mode on the AC couldn’t do anything about it. The bed and the pillows are hard, maybe old. The breakfast is not bad but seeing the price it’s just not worth it. The price per night is way too expensive for what you’ll get. The hosts were nice to us, however, we talked to other customers who pointed out that the hosts were rude to them. I would recommend the hotel for a one night stay only.
