07 · Questions

Asked along the way.

Can we hold our ceremony on-site?+

Civil ceremonies are not available at La Roccaccia itself but can be officiated 50km away at the chapel of Palazzo Vinci Gigliucci, a sister property. Medieval churches are located 7–10km from the venue for blessing ceremonies or registry office alternatives.

What happens if weather is poor?+

An indoor pavilion with glass walls can host up to 100 seated guests, allowing receptions to proceed without moving. Outdoor ceremony spaces remain available for those who prefer them.

Do we need to hire caterers through the venue?+

La Roccaccia operates an open catering policy. You may hire external vendors of your choice, and the venue provides referrals for suppliers with local experience.

Is the castle accessible for guests with mobility concerns?+

Many areas are wheelchair accessible; however, the venue's hillside location and medieval structure mean not all spaces are easily navigable. Discuss specific accessibility needs when booking.

Where do all our guests stay?+

The estate accommodates 7–9 guests across two apartments with kitchenettes and private bathrooms. Additional accommodation is available 9km away in nearby Amandola for larger parties. A mandatory 4–5 night stay is required.

What is the nearest airport?+

Ancona International Airport is 120km away (1 hour 40 minutes by road). Perugia Airport is equally distant at 120km (1 hour 35 minutes).
