As a stopover this works well. Easy and safe parking and a hostess who is very welcoming and speaks good English. The rooms seem to vary. We had one in the main house which was quite small, especially the bathroom. It was comfortable though there was only one socket with a multi-way adapter. Breakfast (included) was around a communal table and was quite plentiful. Nice to have a kettle to make tea with boiling water! Though I’ve mentioned stopover there is a lovely garden area and you could use this chambre d’hotes as a base for exploring the champagne houses - Verzenay is just 10 minutes away. No restaurants within walking distance so you would need to use a car.
