We stayed at Kivotos Santorini for a couple of days, and it was an unforgettable experience. The staff were exceptionally polite and attentive, always parking our car for us — which was a huge help, as finding parking in Santorini can be quite difficult. The hotel is perfectly situated at the top of a hill, with direct access to the street, so there’s no need to carry your luggage up or down steep steps, which is a big advantage compared to many other hotels on the island. The breakfast was delicious, and you can choose your dishes daily from their menu. Our room was absolutely stunning — it felt like being inside a volcanic cave, with beautiful dark tones and ambient lighting. Each room even has its own private swimming pool or jacuzzi, adding an incredible touch of luxury. The sunset views are out of this world — people from all around Santorini gather near the hotel just to catch a glimpse of it. The location is also very convenient if you have a car, being only about 10 minutes from both Fira and Oia, and offering breathtaking views of the caldera. The main swimming pool and bar area were also perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. The only downside for us was the dinner menu, which felt a bit too experimental for our taste and quite expensive. However, everything else about the hotel was perfect, and it will forever hold a special place in our hearts. I highly recommend Kivotos Santorini — it’s truly a magical and romantic place to stay.
