A stay with too many shortcomings - This hotel has potential as the location is fantastic but it is under staffed. the receptionist during the day are really rude and not helpful. We were 3 families and stayed for 3 nights which is a waste of money when this hotel is not even 2 star level. During our stay, we encountered the following issues: Cleanliness was poor, with ants found on the bed all day long -Drinks at the bar were served in plastic cups, yet charged at premium prices Deckchairs were dirty, without cushions, and some umbrellas were broken. The bathroom mat was not changed during my stay. shower tray iis chipped, hanger broken and light bulb does not work Breakfast service was extremely slow, which I understand may be due to staff being overworked as the staff is very nice. food was not filled again when finished . for an italian breakfast it is cheap and definitely not 4 star standard -ac is on all day as same temperature. one has to call reception for adjustment. this is unacceptable in the middle of the night - tv not working for whole stay -kitchens not equipped not even 1 cup or glass and very dirty. it felt we were given these rooms and they had been closed for months The attitude of your receptionists is very poor when we mentioned these shortcomings she tried to find justifications for everything in a very rude way. I asked for the director to contact me and to date nothing. never again
