Il Casolese di Vignamaggio in Greve in Chianti.

Il Casolese di Vignamaggio rises from the rolling hills of Chianti, where cypress-lined vineyards stretch across the Tuscan countryside at 350 meters elevation.

Stone farmhouse architecture frames panoramic views of the Val di Pesa valley, with terraced gardens and working vineyards creating an agricultural landscape that feels suspended between medieval tradition and contemporary hospitality.

The property functions as both hotel and event venue, offering guests immediate access to 57 hectares of estate grounds.

My husband and I recently got married at Vignamaggio and had a better experience than we could’ve imagined. What a romantic place to share such a special day! Our family and friends stayed with us there and they were all thoroughly impressed with the quality of food, service, accommodations and THE VIEWS!! You can’t imagine such perfect scenery. Every meal we had was delicious - the food is fresh from their gardens. The wine was fantastic. We bought a few reserve bottles to enjoy later. We loved spending hours at dinner trying multiple courses, being impressed with every single one. Also, we loved the breakfast spread and spent an hour or so each morning enjoying cappuccinos and delicious baked items, eggs, meat, cheese and fruits - and their grape juice from their vineyards! The hiking trails were so fun and let you explore to the outskirts of the property and take in the scenery, walking straight through the vineyards. The rooms were excellently designed and remodeled for our guests. Our Monnalisa suite was the perfect backdrop for a romantic wedding night. We felt like we were in a Renaissance dream! We will be visiting Vignamaggio for our future anniversaries!! Thank you to their wonderful staff!
