We came home from our Amalfi Coast trip 2 weeks ago. This was our 2nd time staying at Hotel Villa Maria Pia in 2 years. After our first experience, we knew HVMP was the ONLY Amalfi COAST HOTEL WHERE WE WOULD EVER STAY . This is hard to describe unless you experienced it for yourself, but the family and staff that owns this hotel makes you feel like you are a member of their family. They are warm, kind, helpful, caring, and knowledgeable. Twice now, they have gone out of their way to help us with issues that have nothing to do with our stay at their hotel. This is a very special group of people…EVERYONE from GUILIA, NELLO,MARTIN, etc….they sincerely want their guests to truly enjoy the Amalfi Coast, and will help in any way they can, to make sure you get the most out of your visit. For the 2nd time now, we couldn’t wait to get to HVMP, AND FOR THE 2nd time, we were VERY SAD to leave. This is a hotel like non other. This is a hotel with a staff with HUGE hearts! Martin, specifically, this time, helped me and my daughter through a very stressful situation, and he did it with calm and kindness. The property itself, is in an ideal and convenient location. You can walk to lots of lovely restaurants, and local,shops…best of all you can easily walk to the most charming beach within just a few minutes. The hotel offers private parking, which we find to be essential. Breakfast is delicious and is served on the most beautiful veranda overlooking the sea. The rooms are incredibly. Lean with traditional furniture and style. The view from the rooms is breathtaking. It’s a €1,000,000.00 view! Their proximity to the cave is really quite amazing. My husband loves to swim to that cave. We have absolutely no no doubt we will return to Amalfi Coast, and without a doubt, we will stay at HVMP! This place and this hotel has our hearts! Thank you to everyone who at Hotel Villa Maria Pia for giving us such an unforgettable, personalized, incredible Amalfi Coast experience. You are THE BEST!
