Hotel Tenuta di Artimino member of Meliá Collection in Artimino, open June–September.
Hotel Tenuta di Artimino sits on a Renaissance estate in Tuscany where guests arrive through olive groves and centuries-old gardens to a working hotel with period frescoes and vaulted cellars.
Your ceremony can take place in the Villa's authorized civil hall or outdoors across the parkland, followed by dinner in Renaissance halls or beneath the estate's original barrel-vault ceilings.
Up to 500 guests can stay on-site across the 4-star hotel and apartment complex, with Florence just 30 minutes away.
It’s a nice hotel, the rooms are clean and the experience is relaxing, but it’s honestly just a really inconvenient location for anyone traveling without a car. The hotel does not really have any way to help with the arrival or the departure, in fact they just have a taxi agreement with a service there that costs significantly more than the meter does (€135 through them instead of €90 from santa maria novella on the way there.) Also, they told us the taxi would come in 20 minutes and it took 35, so the whole departure experience just ended up being extremely unpleasant. Cute spot, but not really worth the hassle.
